When I first saw the characters page, I thought that the weights were a bit off.
I haven't done the math yet, but this may caused by correct usage of the square/cube law.
more like a square-root/cube-root law, now that I think about it...
If I have it incorrect, it was going off the assumption of a regular human (well, thin and lithe) of that size and weight (which may be the case since I don't know those weights either nor did I do any homework on that), but also taken into account a tail that is nothing but pure muscle and is probably the weight of an additional leg.
Also, on the trope itself, not sure how much the height difference would make on body build and structure since they're not grossly smaller than humans.
But meh. Either way, if you can legitimize it with an explanation for the trope, then go for it.
