Hi, my real name is Emil, I live in France. I'm 18, and will be 19 in September. I believe I am a dragon, I rarely ever take anything seriously, and I might start talking about bananas, carrot salad, miniature presidents, zombies, humans, human zombies, living dead, magic... As a matter of fact, I think that I could talk about anything (excluding things against the law and the rules)...
Speaking of anything, I have one question about the rules, okay, here it goes : What kind of dictatorship is this ?  
 
I discovered Altermeta in September 2009 and I just loved it ! However, I can't really share it with my friends (they don't speak/write/read/understand English)
So, I was wondering if I could translate the comic to French. Of course I'll do this for free, if I have the permission to translate it.

Caz is our leader of ultimate power, and Caltsar is our administrator. We would follow them blindly and joyfully into many painful walls of hot burning fire, like 8 walls or so... no more than 10 walls though. I can only handle so much burning.

Damn, and I thought that I wouldn't need to send an E-mail (I never know how to write an E-mail correctly, it keeps sounding wrong to me. Well, if I did write more than 10 E-mails a year I might get used to it.)
In fact it took me almost 4 hours just to introduce myself (doesn't seem like it, eh ?  )
Well, I guess that I'll go for an E-mail then, my first of the year !

I also found difficulty in articulating myself with the Altermeta fandom at first. Honestly it seems that those who do flourish the most in this community. I'm sure you'll get along very well with our little cult of pure awesome!  

Are you native to France? I must say that your ability to fluently write in English is good.

I was born in the US, and left with my mother when my parents divorced. I was eight...
It was the Saturday after Thanksgiving in November, I remember because there was a whole new episode of Pokemon that I really wanted to watch. (I even remember that it's the one with Team Rocket's Lickatoungue... I saw it about a month later in France. But I didn't understand all of it  )
It took me 6 months to learn French.

And of course I respect the time here. So it's normal if you see me writing only from midnight or 1am until 4pm (East coast time).

I think it's pretty awesome of you to offer, and don't feel obligated if it turns into something overwhelming or what have you.  Just hang out, have fun. Make friends. Stroke my ego.

Oh thank you so much ! Just one thing before I start translating, should I just translate the text or do I have permission to go and write the speech bubbles ?
Example : Either I copy the text, translate the text and send it to someone here to do the "modifications" on the comic.
Or I try to do the whole thing myself (it isn't the first time that I translate, but it would be the first time that I would also be changing the speech bubbles).
  I was about to get to the stroke ego and talk of the characters part of my E-mail, the hardest part, because it's always hard to flatter someone you don't know.

Well I guess that I'll get down to work, I'll start with the old comic  
With school and everything else I believe that I could have finished translating everything by July.

And I've only taken care of the text... Not the actual pages...

Ok I'll take care of the bubbles (BUBBLES, BUBBLES ! MY BUBBLES !  )
What's the name of the font you used ? (it would make it much faster to change the pages if I knew the font rather than going and copying the letters I need one by one  )

And I've already asked this by E-mail but it's really important : May I change some names ?
Tabitha would be Tatiana (Mostly because of what her name would sound like in French, it ain't mean, but it's obscene  )
Rutherford would become Colin (Rutherford is not really a French name, I only thought of changing it for "Ruths (w)rath". In French : La Col(ère) de Colin.

If I need to make any major changes to the text, I will warn you (it's your text, not mine )

These days I use Anime Ace as my main font.  Back then I don't remember, but Comic Sans was also a weapon of choice for a while.
